Traditional Japanese salted ume plum condiment – refined acidity & balance

Umeboshi, often referred to as salted plum, is made from the Japanese ume fruit, closely related to apricot. Umeboshi paste is a staple seasoning in Japan, prized for its elegant acidity, gentle saltiness and clean fruit character.
This version features a reduced salt content (5%) and is free from preservatives and colourings, making it ideal for contemporary cuisine.
