Mirin is an essential ingredient in Japanese cuisine and is used exclusively for cooking purposes. This product is a cooking mirin, not intended for direct consumption as an alcoholic beverage.
It adds natural sweetness, depth and umami to sauces and dishes, while helping to balance acidity and bitterness. Widely used in sauces, marinades, glazes and simmered dishes.
️ Important: although it contains alcohol (8.5% vol.), this product is intended for cooking; most of the alcohol evaporates during preparation.
