Maison Ponthier’s 100% passion fruit purée guarantees pure Ecuadorian origin and a single variety: Flavicarpa. The fruits mainly come from Esmeraldas province on the north-west coast of Ecuador, known as the “Green Province” for its abundant vegetation.
This region benefits from ideal year-round growing conditions: stable temperatures between 21–25 °C, high humidity, bright sunshine at dawn and tropical rainfall in the afternoon and at night. This terroir gives the purée its vibrant acidity and exceptional aromatic intensity.
