Ponthier’s 100% orange purée is made from Valencia oranges grown in Sicily’s fertile volcanic soil. The island’s mountains are composed of well-drained “Trubi” or white marl soils, rich in limestone, fine yellow sands, and minerals – the perfect foundation for thriving orange groves. Abundant mountain streams nourish the soil, while Sicily’s constant sunshine imparts an intense aroma and a bright, fresh flavour to the fruit.
This purée offers a vibrant taste and natural sweetness, ideal for desserts, beverages, sauces, and ice creams.
