Frozen Mandarin Purée 100%
Origin: Sicily, Italy | Ponthier
Sicily’s volcanic soil, mountain-surrounded landscapes and constant natural sunshine create an exceptionally fertile terroir for citrus cultivation. Its well-drained soils, rich in limestone, fine yellow sands and minerals, provide the perfect foundation for mandarin orchards.
The Sicilian mandarins selected by Ponthier are grown in respect of local traditions and are renowned for their freshness and vibrancy. The Tardivo di Ciaculli variety stands out for its intense aroma, bright colour, balanced acidity and delicate bitterness. Thanks to these remarkable qualities, Sicilian mandarins have been chosen to represent Slow Food Foundation projects dedicated to biodiversity.
This 100% mandarin purée brings natural freshness and elegance to professional pastry and gastronomic creations.
