The Melon du Quercy IGP celebrates the exceptional terroir of southwest France, renowned for its sun-drenched hillsides, clay-rich soils (over 25%) and cool nights that create a musky, aromatic and sweetly perfumed fruit.
Maison Ponthier carefully selects only hand-harvested, first-grade Charentais Jaune melons (“de table”), chosen for their ripeness, weight and size. The resulting purée is intensely fruity, with a natural sweetness (13.5° Brix), silky texture and long-lasting flavour.
